Dear Friends and supporters of Louie’s Place,

This summer over 100 children and teens from South Providence and nearby communities will sign up for camp at Louie’s Place. Those who attend will enjoy a summer full of educational and enriching activities and events. In addition to the basics, breakfast, lunch, snacks, recreational and social activities, ALL campers will participate in character development and summer learning. Older students will participate in Leadership Development!

Louie’s Place partners with several organizations to provide a variety of quality experiences. Some of those partners include Boy Scouts, and Girl Scouts. We also utilize many of the local resources in southern New England, such as Roger Williams and Goddard Parks, Battleship Cove, South Side Community Land Trust, and the Providence Children’s Museum. Many of these are experiences our campers would not be able to enjoy apart from Louie’s Place.

Please consider helping by:

• sponsoring a camper – $75/week or $675 for the summer provides a scholarship for a camper.
• providing a bus for a field trip – $450 for one bus, most trips require 2 buses.
• sponsoring a young teen in the Youth Leadership Development Program – $250 stipend given for successfully completing the program.
• sponsoring a Junior Counselor – $450 stipend given for successfully completing the program.
• providing snacks for one week. – $125
