The children at Louie’s Place have secret penpals. Every Friday, the kids in the Afterschool program are writing letters to their penpals to improve their writing skills and make community connections. The penpals, who are asked to write at least twice a month, were solicited from the community and won’t reveal their identity until spring. The kids are creating amazing letters and can’t wait to find out who they are corresponding with.
