The afterschool program began this week at SPNM. We provide homework help, fun activities, a snack and dinner for just $35.00 per week. We currently have 26 kids enrolled and 12 more kids who would like to come, but who’s parents can’t afford it. These are refugee kids struggling with English and culture. They are young teens who will go home to an empty house. They are kids who need some one to affirm their self-worth. They are kids who need to be in a place where they can learn to be successful. They are kids who we believe would benefit from being here.

There are many child care options so we asked our parents why they send their kids to SPNM. Here’s what they said:
